Christina Hall knows what’s important.
The mom of three gave fans an update on her children one month after news broke that she and ex Josh Hall are divorcing.
“I finally have my appetite back. I’m exercising again,” she wrote on Instagram Aug. 9. “My kids are happy & our house feels like home. ‘Those poor kids’ adore me.. anyone who knows us for real knows this and that’s what matters.”
The Christina on the Coast star shares daughter Taylor El Moussa, 13, and son Brayden El Moussa, 8, with her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. She also shares son Hudson Anstead, 4, with her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
In her update, Christina went on to gush over her recent quality time with friends and her professional life, calling work “a dream.” The HGTV star shared that she’s also working with a life coach, writing, “I made myself and her a promise—I will never ever give away my peace again.”
The proud mom also shared a selfie in bed with her two cuddling sons, writing, “Perfect Friday Night.”
In July, Josh and Christina both filed for divorce after more than two years of marriage. In his paperwork filed, Josh cited the reason behind the split as irreconcilable differences and the date of separation listed is July 8. He is also seeking spousal support from the reality star.
Christina, however, listed the former couple's date of separation as July 7.
In the weeks following their split, the exes have each spoken about their complicated divorce.
"Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of 'how I was blind-sided and how I'm working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch,” Christina wrote in a July 25 Instagram Story post, “Meanwhile, I'm over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be.”
Shortly after, Josh posted on Aug. 2 asking for privacy.
"I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for," the 43-year-old wrote. "I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever."
He continued, "We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are."
Look back at the former couple's love story.
Sparks flew while Christina and Josh started spending time together. The couple recreated their March 2021 date a year later.
While on vacation for Christina's birthday, the two posed for a photo on the beach and made their relationship Instagram official.
Months in, Christina had a message for any haters, noting she'll "turn off comments with Josh and will continue to do so if people are rude." As she later put it, "Do what you love with the ones you love. For me, that's Josh, my kids and a few close friends and co-workers."
Engaged! One day after celebrating Josh's birthday, Christina confirmed the duo's romance was anything but a flop.
The pair celebrated the spooktacular season with a visit to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
Just a few months later, they marked their first Christmas together.
"Building life together and enjoying some alone time," she captioned this sweet pic. "Love you Josh."
The following month, Christina enjoyed the "Best Valentine's weekend with my Valentine."
"Prayed for a man who was all man but still treated me like his queen," Christina wrote on Instagram just a few days before news of her and Josh's marriage broke. "Never give up."
In April 2022, fans learned that Christina and Josh privately tied the knot. They then celebrated their union with a wedding in Hawaii that September.
"Shared vows in front of family and our close friends," Christina wrote on Instagram Sept. 4. "Everything in life has led me to where I am right now, which is exactly where I want to be. My dream man on the dreamiest island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an amazing night filled with love."
It would later be revealed that the two actually wed in October 2021.
The real estate agent celebrated the HGTV star's birthday with a sweet tribute.
"Happy 40th Birthday to my absolute stunner of a wife!" he wrote on Instagram. "This woman has accomplished so much, inspired so many and continues to impress me daily. I can’t say enough about what an absolute force she is and what she is capable of. Christina is about to make her 40’s the best decade of her life and looking better than ever while doing it!I’m a lucky man and thank my lucky stars that she chose me to take this ride with her that is now our life. Ride or die baby, love you more than anything."
Christina and Josh stepped out for a beach day with her French bulldog Cash and his dog Stella.
"Still going strong…" Josh wrote on Instagram alongside photos over the pair from over the past three years. "03/2024 ← 03/2023 ← 03/202← 03/2021."
In July 2024, Josh filed for divorce from Christina, citing "irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and her listing the same in her own court documents.
